As a Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya wedding photographer, I had the incredible pleasure of capturing the unforgettable wedding of Nick and Abby. Abby, cheerful and elegant, and Nick, full of energy and “crazy in the best way,” celebrated their love surrounded by friends and family from West Virginia. From the overcast skies that created a soft, beautiful glow to the joyful moments shared throughout the day, this destination wedding was full of laughter, emotion, and unforgettable memories.

The day began with overcast glow over turquoise waters, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and the couple getting ready with excitement and joy. Margaritaville offers such a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, making it one of my favorite venues for destination weddings in Mexico.

From the emotional first look to the sunset ceremony on the beach, and the epic reception with DJ and dancing, this celebration had all the ingredients for a wedding to remember. Capturing these real, authentic, and joyful moments is what I love most about photographing weddings at Margaritaville Island Reserve.

The reception was held on the hotel’s rooftop, offering stunning views of the Riviera Maya as the sun dipped toward the horizon. Abby and Nick danced the night away surrounded by their closest friends and family, laughing, cheering, and celebrating every moment. The DJ kept the energy high, and the dance floor was alive with fun, playful moments, and unforgettable memories. To top off the night, guests were amazed by a spectacular fire show with dancers, adding an extra wow factor to the celebration. From heartfelt toasts to spontaneous dance-offs, the rooftop became the perfect stage for an incredible, joy-filled celebration that truly reflected the couple’s vibrant personalities. Playa del Carmen Maternity Photographer for the maternity pictures of Chantal and Mike from Calgary Canada. They are very excited waiting their first baby. They told the pediatrician not to tell her the baby’s sex, so that it would be a surprise on the day of birth. Puerto Morelos Engagement Photos. I had the privileges to spend one nice afternoon sunset with this super friendly and happy couple. Gem and Drew started off as friends working together for 2 years as physical therapists in the nursing home and through the COVID pandemic, not realizing that love is friendship set to music. Since then, they are inseparable. As a couple, they love fishing, cooking together and spending quality time with friends and family. They are tying the knot this December on Long Island, New York. Stunning Wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun. So glad to cover the Destination Wedding of Melissa and Marino, super friendly couple from New York. This newly wed couple met on March 1, 2020, just three weeks before the pandemic began. They found each other on Bumble days before, and have talked every single day since. Their first date was brunch that lasted about nine hours and as many bottles of wine. Even though the world shut down, the relationship remained strong with many wine and cheese movie nights. As COVID subsided, they traveled to Mexico for their one year anniversary- a trip and place that will always hold a special place in their hearts.Days were filled with countless laughs, weekend trips to wineries, concerts, cooking together, holidays and more. As their two year anniversary approached, Melissa made it no secret that Marino was the one. Finally, in the summer of 2022, Marino surprised everyone and proposed at a winery on a perfect sunny afternoon as the on-lookers clapped and cheered. Now, they celebrated with friends and family back in their favorite vacation spot, Mexico, to start life as husband and wife! Congratulations for them I wish the best life. Last March I went to the Haven Riviera Cancun to cover the Beach Destination Wedding of Brianne and Gary from Nevada, U.S. They met five years ago, since then they are sharing their lives. They love the Mexican food and travels around the globe. Brianne is a very talent florist for weddings and events and Gary is a property broker. This couple is deeply in love. They wanted something intimate for the wedding. They came with family and best friend to enjoy the nuptials and the new Haven Resort at the Riviera Cancun.
