The day began in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Inside the bridal suite, there was laughter, music, and that subtle anticipation that builds before everything begins.

As the ceremony started at the beach gazebo, the Caribbean light softened everything. The ocean in the background, the breeze moving gently — it created a setting that felt both intimate and expansive.

When Samanta walked down the aisle, there was a moment of stillness. Mike’s reaction said everything.

As the sun began to set, we stepped onto the beach for their couple portraits.

As a Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Maya wedding photographer, I had the incredible pleasure of capturing the unforgettable wedding of Nick and Abby. Abby, cheerful and elegant, and Nick, full of energy and “crazy in the best way,” celebrated their love surrounded by friends and family from West Virginia. From the overcast skies that created a soft, beautiful glow to the joyful moments shared throughout the day, this destination wedding was full of laughter, emotion, and unforgettable memories.

The day began with overcast glow over turquoise waters, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and the couple getting ready with excitement and joy. Margaritaville offers such a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, making it one of my favorite venues for destination weddings in Mexico.

From the emotional first look to the sunset ceremony on the beach, and the epic reception with DJ and dancing, this celebration had all the ingredients for a wedding to remember. Capturing these real, authentic, and joyful moments is what I love most about photographing weddings at Margaritaville Island Reserve.

The reception was held on the hotel’s rooftop, offering stunning views of the Riviera Maya as the sun dipped toward the horizon. Abby and Nick danced the night away surrounded by their closest friends and family, laughing, cheering, and celebrating every moment. The DJ kept the energy high, and the dance floor was alive with fun, playful moments, and unforgettable memories. To top off the night, guests were amazed by a spectacular fire show with dancers, adding an extra wow factor to the celebration. From heartfelt toasts to spontaneous dance-offs, the rooftop became the perfect stage for an incredible, joy-filled celebration that truly reflected the couple’s vibrant personalities. I met them for the first time in Tulum. When Corbin proposed to the love of his life, Ivanna. This super nice and friendly couple have been dating for five years. They are always together. They love to travel around the world. Before to come to Mexico they were visiting Europe. They like the best, the dedicated service, good food and paradisiacal beaches. I had the pleasure to cover the beach destination wedding of Brandi and Evan from Nashville TN. This beautiful couple has known each other for two years. They met through a Bumblee app to make friends and dates. They came with a bunch of family and friends to celebrate together some days at the beach in the venue Dreams Natura Resort and Spa. The wedding day was cloudy and rainy, but it was not a problem for them to enjoy their big day to the fullest. It is very important to have good communication with the couple.
