The wedding day was great with lots of sun, but as the speeches started it started to rain, but it wasn’t a problem for Cyndle and Mike. Cozumel is known primarily as a diving destination, but it does have some wonderful beaches also for love. This island, located just off the coast of the Mexican Caribbean across from Playa del Carmen, is about 30 miles long and 10 miles wide. Boat Wedding Riviera Maya Sunset Photos. I had the privilege to meet Amelia and Alex for their Caribbean Boat Destination Wedding. This nice friendly couple came with the best ones to celebrate one week around the Riviera Maya. The best the Wedding Day in a Catamaran at the Sunset. Alex and Amelia met in nursing school in Baltimore, MD in 2015. They traveled to the Yucatán in 2017 for a vacation and found it to be a magical place. Being from opposite coasts in the USA (Alex from CA and Amelia from NH) they knew someone would have to travel for a wedding no matter what. Amelia dreamed of a wedding that felt like a family vacation, one where the focus was on spending time together and enjoying a location where the couple had fallen in love. Both families celebrated the week together in a beautiful villa near Playa del Carmen. The small wedding party allowed for spontaneity and a unique setting such as a ceremony on a boat. The informal ceremony took place on the bow of a catamaran, barefoot, as family shared their advice of love and marriage while enjoying the sunset. They were staying at the beautiful The Beach Tulum, hotel with the Tulum style, front of the one most beautiful beaches at the Riviera Maya. This couple love to spend their winters skiing and snowboarding in Sun Valley, Idaho and their summers running businesses at the base of Mt. Rainier in Washington state.  They were married in Tulum on the 8 year anniversary of their first date.  Between them, they have 5 kids, 3 grandkids, 6 businesses, 2 cats and a dog.  Escaping to Tulum to elope was the perfect way to plan a wedding ceremony and honeymoon that was all about each other. Thompson Playa Del Carmen Photographer for the Engagement Pictures of Diana and Nick. This engaged couple are nice young lovers, very friendly, the kind of clients that I will miss. They have been dating for 3 years. Both are from San Diego California. They work in systems engineering. This guys recently decided to tie the knot for the next year, meanwhile have some trips to know some weddings venues. They like to walk on the beach side. They also like to travel around the world very much, visiting new places. In the week of San Valentin, they were knowing the natural beauties that the State of Quintana Roo Mexico offers to its visitors. They really love the color of the sea of Cancun, also the white beaches of Isla Mujeres, but what I like most was the city near the sea of Playa del Carmen. They chose The Thompson Hotel, in the heart of the Riviera Maya, exactly where all nightlife is happening and near the best beaches in Playa del Carmen. Tulum Mayan Wedding Ceremony at The Cenote Taak Bi Ha. Jon and Rhiannon are nice couple from Los Angeles California, they love to travel around the world. Jon is very clever guy that works designing aeronautical technology. Rhiannon is very friendly she works in a kindergarten also she has some projects to help childhood in Africa. They have together since four yers ago. When they left the city of Los Angeles. Rhiannon didn’t know they were going to get married at a Mayan Wedding in the middle of the jungle and inside a cave with a cenote. Jon already had everything ready for when they came to Tulum at the Riviera Maya. She accepted, they married with many mysticism with a real Mayan Shaman.
